Emma + Andy: A Copenhagen Wedding

Weddings are my little guilty pleasure when it comes to photography. I don’t brand myself as a wedding photographer but when a sweet couple approaches with a desire for me to capture their celebration, I can’t help but say yes. Lately I’m only accepting small and very intimate weddings. I love authentic celebrations of love without any of the excess. It’s how I imagine my own wedding to me. Just me and my partner. Maybe a few family members. A few weeks back I had the pleasure of photographing Andy and Emma’s wedding. Andy, from Germany, and Emma, from the UK. What a couple. And what a story. They met in Egypt through their shared passion for kitesurfing. They were wed in Copenhagen City Hall and then celebrated after with drinks in the old town of Copenhagen. I absolutely adored both Andy and Emma’s laid back vibe. Emma wore a gorgeous repurposed vintage gown and a flower crown. Girl after my own heart. These are some of my favorite images from their special day.
